It might appear that neither JustinTv nor Dade County is responsible for the eventual death of an impressionable
19 year old actor hopeful who reportedly suffered from chronic depression. Yet, for lack of providing emergency
alerts to proper authorities and doing nothing to intercede in Biggs' overdose of pills; opiates containing benzodiazepine,
Dade county, including members of the local police department and the chat group, may be responsible for encouraging
the actual suicide.
Abraham Biggs case is one that has recieved industry wide critique. Biggs' broadcast death has been the topic
of interest and his story featured in articles published by major magazine companies from Newsweek to
Psychology Today. The critics appear small on sympathy and large on criticism of African American men, blatantly
labeling youth and older African American males with suffering from a culturo-centric mental disease
Officer comments concerning Biggs, "poor ni_ _a"
Critics attempt to speak to the issue of mental illness, however, seems to directly suggest that African American
men are slightly less than average when gauged against the mentality standard of the White male majority.
It is rather apparent, however, that more than just a little emphasis was placed on the live broadcast of the suicide
of an African American youth. In support of a case that might censure the true mentality of white male police-- who
apparently joined the chat group in viewing the live stream truss-pass--comments made and published by one
of Newsweek's lead by-liners, Joshua Alston, were largely reflective of the nature and challenged mental health status of
the 12-hour-long live stream web-cam viewers.

County Police Officer Draws Weapon Over The Still, Lifeless Body Of 19 Yr Old Abraham Biggs
In his commentary, Alston attempts to align the suicide with an act of illicit behavior or perversion,
associating his perception of the "...death..." of the 19 year old youth with sensual fantasy
as Alston's claim suggest that Biggs' actions were something of a "voyeristic nature..." While
nothing at the same time in the same room during the Biggs suicide bore evidence to anything more than a live on-line
tragedy, one has to question what it is that Alston meant to infer. I-GUIDE might inquire of Joshua Alston, "..was it Biggs',
(the African American male) voyueristic nature at work in this instance or viewer's?"
In his Newsweek article Alston, as well as other critics, failed to reflect the markings of masocistic nature
of onlookers and the apparent sadistic behavior on the part of the viewers; the people employed by law enforcement, the fire
department's EMS and other emergency response agencies--who must, also, have witnessed the actual suicide in progress.
According to legnth of the film, no attempt was made by any member of either of these agencies to intercede in preventing
AbrhamBiggs suicide. After 12 hours of viewing, the police did arrive at the scene of the suicide, yet, had not appeared
to have been called by an outside party. It was the police and no one else who found Biggs alone and dead in his father's
home. Prior to police arrival, no member of Biggs family was aware that Abraham Biggs had taken
his own life. No one else knew about Biggs suicide except the chat room viewers and police.
