It was the vision in the character and calibre of Bary Gordy that saved
Stevie Wonder. In the meaning of the words, "snatching one from the fire,*" Gordy saved one life.
It is that type of vision which, in a today sort of sketch, continues saving, as opposed to destroying, the lives of
many through music. Stevie, who had not rested on his fears nor sat down in on opportunity took the ascription
to pursue happiness seriously and upon symbol of American hope, Stevie soared upon it's far reaching wing span, mastering the
piano, the harmonika, the drums, and the bass and first gave glory to the Most High through his service in the church
choir --all by the time he arrived at the tender age of ten.
From the substance of a Miracle, Stevie touched Berry and together, in agreement, thier lives changed others'.
Among those changed were such ultimate greats as the Spinner's original ensemble including Billie Henderson and Pervis
Jackson/ Later, the moxie of music ignited the miracle of song, Smokey Robinson, and the urban hero; Marvin Gaye and
Dionne Warwick in " it's You' , and Luther Vandross, Whitney Houston, and 'That's What Friends Are
For,' and Diana Ross, Pattie LaBelle, Usher, Mariah Carry and Elton John and Paul McCartney in Ebony
& Ivory. Traveling the world with Michael Jackson, the two and a company of others performed the ceremonial Pop
single 'We Are The World' Sadly in July, 2009, after the shocking death of Michael Jackson, Stevie
showered Jackson fans and spectators with an outpouring of song the magnitude of a deluge as he vented the
world's sorrow and pain in an expression of his sentiments delivered theough a medley that was shared
with mourners during the Staples Center Michael Jackson memorial Service.2009. The lyrics to
'I Never Dreamed You'd Leave In Summer', rhetorically implored, "Michael, why didn't you stay"
